see when i was in the once fandom sq was the ship i cared least about, like i shipped it but just secondary, i was more a red/emma shipper. yeah i was talking about the kara one because of the cringe exactly. again, i ship it but secondary (i’m more of a supercat or james/kara person) but now that you say it yeah alex ships are rough too

yeah like i love the bold type a lot but it just doesn’t fill that same void. it was just such an important fucking show, especially now so i really hope mtv knows they fucked up so bad (and goooddd same yes jules/ophelia was so good, what a good pure ship)

theyre never going to give us back the real laurel. theyre just gonna give black siren a redemption arc and act like it’s the same thing. bc all laurels are interchangeable just like all black canaries are interchangeable in the comics. bc editorial Hates Her for some reason

like logically i know this but like they keep fucking throwing this shit in our face and we’re just supposed to accept it? it pisses me off every time. and yeah i love black siren because she’s some form of laurel but it’s not our laurel and any redemption arc is going to be tainted and team arrow will never trust her (not that they gave real laurel any respect but still) so it’s like yeah the redemption arc is coming but what’s the point. but they throw legends in our face who go back and fuck with time on a weekly basis and we’re not supposed to question it just because guggenheim won’t admit he fucked up

i h8 that kara’s grief is so mon-el centric and i hate most of the plotlines this season, but i am actually loving some of the more in-depth grief they’re letting kara work through?? like, kara having to deal with people appropriating her religion, and then rediscovering that religion and embracing it as a way to connect to the people+culture she’s lost? i’m So Here for this

honestly i can’t even begin to cover all the reasons i hate mon el and what they did to kara this season but yeah this episode is definitely the best i’ve seen in a while! aside from the terrible girls’ night everything else and especially the religion storyline this ep is actually amazing and i’m living for it. @ writers more episodes like this please and thank
