The Uramaki Tonijn is a tasty inside-out sushi roll with fresh avocado and tuna. For sushi fans, it's a great choice because of the mix of tastes and textures.
Ingredients: 300g sushi rice. 4 sheets nori seaweed. 200g fresh tuna, thinly sliced. 1 avocado, sliced. 2 tbsp sesame seeds. 2 tbsp rice vinegar. 1 tbsp sugar. 1/2 tsp salt. Soy sauce, for dipping. Wasabi, for serving. Pickled ginger, for serving.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl until the sugar and salt are gone. Add this to the cooked sushi rice and mix it in. Put a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat so that the shiny side is facing down. Leave an inch of space at the top of the sushi rice and spread it out thinly over the nori. Add sesame seeds to the rice. On the bamboo mat, turn the nori sheet over so that the rice side is facing down. Put slices of avocado and tuna in the middle of the nori sheet. Roll the sushi tightly into a cylinder shape on the bamboo mat. With a sharp knife, cut the sushi roll into small pieces that are easy to eat. Put it on the plate with pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi.
