the most wild shit just happened-- i’m sitting on the bed reading and a scorpion crawls up onto the bed and i’m like oh shit so i hop up off the bed but in my haste it fell between the space between the wall and the bed. i’m thinking damn i gotta go flush this guy out and get a weapon small enough to fit. i hop up and grab some windex and a drumstick bc it looked about the right size. pull up the flashlight on my phone. no scorpion. okay so it crawled under the bed. pick up the mattress, which sends like... every book sitting by my bed flying, nothing. finally i find this insect (arachnid?) of hell playing master of disguise with some bobby pins that have fallen behind the bed and i’m like it’s time to die. so i kill it and put my bed back and now i’m just astonished that in an rpg i would use a blunt weapon and inflict poison damage.
