The hercules beetle is done!!!
My three foot long dynastes hercules replica, which took me a little over a month to make. I am SO happy with this!!

Really loving the head and thorax so far (did you know the top horn grows out of the back, and the bottom horn is on the beetle's face?)

Here's some full body pics with his face and tarsi on. Gonna need to continue drying for a couple days until totally hard. I can't put the joint compound on clay that still has give because it will just crackle and fall off. Almost there though so may just be like one day
