Hi all, welcome to Beetle Island.
I don't have a starting pic, because I didn't realize until I had almost cleared it what I had found.
Beetle Island is a flat island with only hardwood trees. (There's some rocks and vegetation as well) ONLY tree bugs will spawn, so no scorpions. Wasps, yes. Atlas Moths, as you can see.
Ordinarily this would suck, but both Rainbow Stags and Goliath Beetles fetch 8000 bells like scorpions, with the added benefit of no stings!
Idk how well known this island's existence is, but I almost fully cleared it before I realized there are no scorpions, and I'd rather no one accidentally make that mistake!
Thank you, everyone, for the suggestions for bug catching! This is my setup so far. I am just missing a white cloth, UV protection, and extension cords. I am going to use gardening shepard hooks to hold the sheet and lamp since I already have those! Also, the hazmat suit is for my friend because they will die if a roach touches them. @artisticwoe <----It them they were die
