Very Vague Starters: not accepting

“Why so?” Ciel asked with the most innocent look in his blue eyes. “I am not asking for much, and as we both acknowledge the power structure in this situation, I cannot see why it wouldn’t benefit us both to cut to the chase. All I need of you are a few answers to simple questions, and you are free to continue to server Her Majesty as you have until now.”

However, if Ciel had been in a position to choose, he would have shipped the child back where she had come from. It was too strange for his little brother to have friends he had not approved of. The history between the two, which had not included Ciel, troubled him. Yet he was in no position to eliminate Queen Victoria’s hand picked ally so carelessly - at least not right now, not like this.

“You speak to me like I was some sadistic beast,” he said, locking his gaze in her green eyes. “It makes me wonder whether you secretly hold such an opinion about my little brother. We are not at all different, him and I. If you are loyal to him, it should be easy to be loyal to me.” He shrugged his shoulders and leaned back, spreading his arms helplessly. “I treat my friends well.”

it had been.... a long time since a human had fallen. sans has lost track by now. so long without a reset. he didn’t understand. why. why??

so when he’d heard that another human was making their way through the underground, he almost didn’t believe it. he probably wouldn’t have believed it at all, if he didn’t see them himself. 

a small child, shorter than himself, making their way through the snow. god. it was almost too easy, how it all came back to him.

his voice seemed to come out of nowhere, as did the skeleton himself, appearing right in front of her. just a little prank. he meant no harm.
