1. Don't Leave
A tissue rubbed against a stuffy red nose, while tears stained red cheeks. “It, um, looks like he died from his wounds.. We looked for any signs of who could have done it, but we didn’t see anyone or anything else around.. I’m sorry, Zeehva..” Zeehva could only nod, her gaze focused on the cloth covered body of her dad. Sniffling as she pushed her messy black hair from her face. “Thank you..” Zeehva squeaked.
She could feel Aleksanders hand on her shoulder, offering what comfort he could. Minutes passed, she couldn’t bring herself to look away. The man she admired, the man who raised her on his own lay there, lifeless beneath a cloth. His spark was gone, and Zeehva was hit with the realization that she was now alone. Aleksander turned to leave, his hand leaving her shoulder just before she broke the silence.
“Stop.. Please, don’t leave.” She managed. More tears falling to the floor. “I.. I don’t want to be alone right now..”
