hi folks. im sleeeeeeepy as all get-out and i might just pass out for a little bit but before i do i have a question:
for those of you who have online profiles for your OCs, is there a certain website you prefer? i have a toyhouse account i could revamp for this purpose, but i also have a functioning refsheet account i could use. anyone have any opinions on this?
iād like to have OC profiles available somewhere, however small they may be.

I am (for writing purposes) trying to compile a list of wishes that people might make on shooting stars.
Doesn't just have to be shooting stars. Could be birthday candle wishes, dandelion puff wishes - whatever kind of wish that you've put out into the universe whenever given the opportunity of some kind of lucky sign or another.
If you're willing to, please comment or put in the tags wishes that you or others have made.
OOC: Story Summation and Side Character Profiles Feedback Request
So one New Yearās Resolution of mine is going to be improving the quality of this blog a bit more. This is mostly going to take the form of me asking for feedback and editing things to better suit my followers and make this mess of characters feel more accessible. If youāre interested in giving some feedback, check out what I have below.
So Iāve been considering restructuring the way I show the numerous secondary characters on the blog as well as posting basic summaries of the blogās storyline. Currently the first arc, The Red Arena, is finished and characters have split off into two separate parallel stories. Part of the reason I created the story wasnāt just to give Team OLIV a plotline to work with, but also to give a backdrop context for people to interact with the team as well as insert their own characters into the story however they wanted. The idea was to give the team a personal story and backdrop as well as keep them separated from the events of the RWBY proper and not forcing them to simply react to something theyāll never realistically have any influence on. In addition, I do plan on some small timing retcons and pushing the blogās events to always be at least a season behindĀ the main show so Iām not stuck writing around new current events or shoving spoilers into the blogās plot.
As a result, presentingĀ this is mostly for the benefit of my followers and RP partners who want to get involved with the story or need a place to use as a base for interaction. My current system is a bit of a mess.Ā I realize that my old cutscenes were mildly inconsistent, missing information, and the writing changed over time. In addition, character profiles are a bit scattered and some donāt quite have places in supporting or antagonist directly and others are going to change anyway. Here are a few things I can do to fix this, but because this is forĀ my RP partners, I want your input on it.
Hereās my options and ideas. I could implement some or all of them.Ā
The Storyline
Currently I have a masterpost of cutscenes but these donāt tell the whole story and not all of them are well written. I have a few options for this.Ā
First, I could just update and rewrite cutscenes as I need to and put a link to the collection. This will take some time and put my current story on a mild pause on occasion. If I do this, Iāll definitely want to add scenes of stuff that wasnāt properly explained or left in threads to explore.
Write a summation of the plot in narrative form, giving either an abridged or bullet point version of the story, possibly linking the cutscenes when appropriate. (I may still do some edits if I go this route)
The Side Characters
This blog boasts over two-dozen side characters of varying importance and relation to each other. Many are only āavailableā during certain arcs in canon and I do tend to kill them off every so often. So Iāve considered creating a masterpost giving a small summary of each plotline, then let people look at the full events and/or the character profiles for each arc. The main team will keep their own pages. I can either keep the profiles as they are or organize them by arc as Iāve been considering.
Ultimately I have a rough idea of what IĀ want to do but at the end of the day that means nothing if itās not navigable by others so, dear writing partners, I want some input on how to make this a bit more coherent for you!
