When I came across Sonja Singh's Tree Change Dolls™, the controversy of a certain line of dolls being overly sexualized, I wanted to explore further the idea that toys or playthings could have an impact on one's identity. Through my work in Child's Own Studio, I am familiar with the notion that toys can become a source of comfort, pride and meaning for a child (and even adults). The dolls we find in toy stores today are often licenced Disney™ characters or the heroines of Hollywood blockbuster movies that capitalize on the pull of fantasy, fictional characters to young consumers.

In other news, I have this awesonesauce game idea now, I think it'll work best on a smartphone or on Steam. And I'm not too sure about the awesomesauceness of it, just something that literally prevented me from falling asleep until I wrote down all the ideas. Might learn to program from this tho, so that rocks! I have 3 in person sources that I can learn from if needed, hell, my dad TEACHES college programming classes and one of my brothers in law made his own game while the other helped make Rock Band playable on the Wii!!! (He's in the credits as the hobbit looking guy in the suit of armour "playing" the drums. He also made that suit of armour)
