i got this after posting my newest fic that was also my pilot fic for a new fandom, and i have never ever ever been more motivated to write.

if you've ever wondered what a perfect comment might look like.... bitch i'm swooning right now.

but i ALSO wanted to use this moment to share some other comment on my fics/some of my bookmarks:

THESE ARE ALSO INCREDIBLY UPLIFTING AND MOTIVATING!! getting an email notification from ao3 fills me with so much excitement.

shoutout to the crack shippers seeing ten seconds of a pairing together and going "i can work with that" and making a thrilling story out of practically nothing.

respect to the one-shot writers that have never written more than two or three chapters in their whole lives but can cram an awesome story into 5k.

also! respect to authors that exclusively write smut! there is nothing i love more than seeing an ao3 account posting a dozen different porn scenes of the same ship. i see dedication, i see creativity, i don't just see degen horndogs (though some of y'all self identify as that anyways).

shoutout to beginner fanfic authors. shoutout to authors that are too nervous to post their drafts. shoutout to dead dove authors, whether they're processing something or just like to write freaky.

yes, fanfiction can be literature, fanfiction can be SO many things. it can also just be funny. or weird. or horny.

even if you're not reading/writing fics that are slow burn romance or detailed alternate universes, your fanfiction is still worthy of that same respect. i love that you are passionate enough about something to create more of it and/or seek it out from others in fandom.

i'm planning a vegas trip for my birthday, and i'm going with someone that does not have vegas money. but i do. and i plan on saving up as much as possible so i can not only treat myself, but him too.

nothing, NOTHING is more exciting to me than spoiling my friends. to me, there is no greater feeling than telling someone "i'll cover it" when they hesitate on purchasing something.

i love having money because it's so so fulfilling to spend it on other people. not just in a "i'm donating to feel like a good person" way or a "you owe me back" way. i don't do it to feel better or make myself appear differently, i do it because i know how much it means to people in the world we're in.

my way of showing love is doing what i can to take that burden off of people's shoulders. can i afford to do this constantly? absolutely not, i'm not that rich. but i have more disposable money than others in my friend group, mostly because i have a surprisingly well-paying job for a 21 year old.

a couple months of saving will get me incredibly far, and gives me the ability to do things like a couple days in vegas, or send my friend on a shopping spree through a convention's artist alley with my card.
