I have this friend. She’s an actual real life fairy. Her name is Paola. She comes up with these magical ideas and brings them to life. She orchestrated this entire @fanmdjanm campaign from the music, to the headwraps, wardrobe down to the décor. When she asked me if I could do a rendition of Nina Simone’s song “Feeling Good” to nothing but the sound of drums, I was initially perplexed. I chose to follow suit blindly because I knew that anything she touched would undoubtedly turn to gold. Sure enough, when I saw this montage with the accompanying music, it all made so much sense.
