- Child is an Elemental Construct (homebrew race), which is essentially a lesser Elemental (think tiny bitey bug that’s also on fire) smashed into an object of the Material Plane and given a sweet new body from the summoner’s magic. These constructs are generally smarter and more independent than Golems, but still learn and grow at a rate that makes them easy to influence.

- Constructs can live a very long time. Child is no exception. No one is quite sure how old he is, though the long list of people Child has served under seems to point to very.

- Animals! Child adores them and will do anything to make them happy. Birds are his favorite.

- Child carries about 100 lbs. of various animal feed on him at any given time to ensure said happiness.

- Child’s clay armor keeps him from igniting everything around him thanks to the cooling runes carved on the inside. These runes can be overridden at the cost flexibility and safety (like when punching your enemy with a superheated fist). Otherwise the armor remains pleasantly warm to the touch.

- Eyeless but not blind, Child perceives his world through a mix of heat signatures and touch.
