Noah obviously would. He's like, the house guy. We're talking buying the land, hand cut timber posts, every afternoon once he's finished with work chipping away at the endless lists of tasks. Anything you’d ever ask for, he’d find a way to get it in that house- from splashback tiles or accent walls to appliances, he wants whatever you want. He’d made sure the doorways and halls are extra wide- enough so that mobility aids can be installed eventually and that one day you can both grow old in that house.  It’s a monument to your relationship and the love he’s got for you, a literal temple of his devotion for you. 

Lars seems like the kind to want to do the work himself. A nice little log cabin with a fireplace you picked out and he installed, always plenty of wood to burn besides it. I feel like he’d love a little property, a bit of land to look after- maybe some chickens, in a pen he’d built, to look like the cabin. Maybe he’d get contractors out for some of the more tedious stuff, like insulation and the plumbing, but he’s the type to paint the walls himself, tile the bathroom too, always asking his brother for advice on how to do some of the more practical things he’s not done before. He’s got a few ideas on how to make your house a nice little quaint home, buys the home maker magazines and dog-ears pages with pictures of kitchens or living rooms he likes, would lean in close to show you and ask if you like them too, a little shy and nervous about it but getting all flushed and proud when you agree with him. 

Colt is such a yearner, this man will do anything for you, he’s fully onboard with years of looking at houses, he’s got a joint pinterest board with you, packed full of little snippets he’d love to have in the house or the yard. He’s so ready to just have a house and like a little slice of paradise with you, white picket dreams or something along those lines. He spends days parroting back everything you’ve said you want in a home to the real estate agents, looking though listings online during his downtime on set. He’s willing to do renovations, to repaint- “anything you want baby, it’s yours”

Holland would honestly bank roll any decisions you’d make about the house. He’s already got the land and he’s been able to procrastinate rebuilding for so long, so having someone who can follow through with this sort of stuff is honestly amazing. He’s more than happy for you (and Holly) to make all the calls about the house, let you pick the carpet, the furniture, hell he’d even let you change your mind halfway through construction. Not a very active participant in decision making but by all means, onboard with everything.

Ryland cannot afford to build a house on a teacher’s salary. A sad truth, but certainly one the pair of you can learn to live with. He still wants to give you everything you want though, sp your dream home comes in stages, a well decorated apartment first, then eventually a little fixer-upper in the suburbs. You tackle it piece by piece, every few years shaping a new room into one you’ve dreamed of. By the time you’ve finally got everything you’ve dreamed of, it makes it all the more worthwhile because you’ve worked for it- lived there together for so long it’s already a home.  Besides, he’s funny about new spaces, it’s probably better that you guys go slow about it all, means he has time to get used to all the changes one by one 

Driver doesn’t understand the necessity for ‘house and home’, he’s really just a bare essentials kind of guy. He wouldn't have a bedframe when you met him, so naturally when you move in together (in a house or apartment that you chose because he didn’t really care where he ended up, as long as it was with you and had a couple of car spaces) literally all of the furniture is yours. He’s so complacent when it comes to decisions and furnishings, just smiles a little slight thing and nods when you suggest something for the home, leaning forwards to kiss you because he loves that you ask even though you know his answer already, loves being considered, loves being part of whatever little family unit you guys have formed. 

Sebastian is so fucking stubborn that you argue about pretty much anything. He wants an old cottage style house, cramped but good bones. Doesn't care if it’s run down as hell when you two buy it, just has his eyes set on the final product. He’s probably the type to go and put a deposit down without asking, ngl. Impulsive about it but also knows you’ll probably need a lot of convincing and he does not wanna miss the chance at the house he finally decides is perfect. Once the house is yours though, he’s a lot more malleable about it, willing to take in feedback or suggestions, although isn’t above fucking you swaying you back towards his preferences. Eventually though, you grow to appreciate his taste for the classics and slightly pretentious taste. He’s definitely got one of those vintage style smeg appliance sets- fridge, kettle and toaster all straight from the fifties- you get to pick the colour though.
