As far as ND headcanons for "The Terror" go, I headcanon both Hickey and Collins as psychotic. In Collins' case it comes in the form of hallucinations (auditory and visual hallucinations are semi-canon, I also think he sometimes smells burnt flesh). Hickey doesn't hallucinate, but he does have delusions ("The reality is a play, everything is predestined" kind of thing).
