Earthâs first chosen - Akach
The army of Amaexur was a defense system made by Nistiel, Masadorâs older brother, without the War Devil, Oumaraâs realms were merely defenseless, and Nistiel did not have the capability of fending them all.
As the army progressed, soldiers of higher caliber became higher in command, and, while Nistiel could oversee his own land however he wanted, the birth of new devils meant they, too, had the same rights as him, therefore, their own troops, captains, etc. During the times Nistiel was the only Devil, he had one chosen, Elgis, to be his trainee, the one that would represent him directly, and this decision meant each Devil, too, needed their own representative, thus the Amaexure Elite was born.
When Masador was able to choose, at around a hundred years old or so, he chose a street artist by the name of Akach. At first glance, he seemed like just that, a sword dancer, Nistiel did not understand his brotherâs decision, however, the blades used in his art were much heavier than they seemed, thirty kilogram scimitars that he moved, swung and swayed ad if it was a mere kilogram. Elegance, ease and speed that not many demons held. He also seemed proficient in street combat, something that got Masador to spar him and subsequently choose him as an Elite.
Akach was somewhat difficult to train, not only was he stubborn, but he was cocky, and even when he was beat to a pulp and shown that his methods were not a one-fits-all scenarios, he still held his beliefs strongly, talking to a rock, fitting for earth demons. Akach too liked to push Masadorâs timid nature to its limits, teasing, flirting and treating the Devil more like an equal than a superior, despite all of this, Masador was confident about his choices, and his confidence paid off, for not only was his warrior strong in battle, but cunning too, and held an element of surprise Masador did not see again for a very long time.
Behind walls their relationship could get a bit more carnal, there was no romance between them, but heat of battle, training, and Akachâs nature as a tease led to multiple intimate situations, those Masador remembers fondly, as there was no commitment to them, there was no work, no seriousness, just feeling good for a bit. Their friendship did seem much stronger than anything else.
During times of war, Akach and Elgis would fight alongside each other, similar to Nistiel and Masador, their teamwork was impeccable, and they knew how to cover for each otherâs flaws. However...
It wasnât until one large battle against angels in particular, Masador held himself as a sentinel in his Zesic Ulri state, unseeing, unhearing, yet still in combat, angel after angel would succumb to his strength, but he did not expect the strength of a god to get at him, first, a strong blow, something hit his shield with enough strength to shatter it, and then, a large object wedged on his side, a loud roar escaped the Devil, reaching for the foreign object that was piercing him, he could feel it, on him, a demonâs heartbeats slowly turn to nothing, and the object he pulled away from his side, while he could not see it, he was familair with, it was one of Akachâs Scimitars.
It wasnât until the battle was over that he could confirm his suspicions, the heartbeat he felt was none other than his chosenâs. Whoâd gotten too cocky for his own good and challenged the god Douma themself.Â
Masador arranged a proper burial and celebration of Akachâs bravery, and while he never outwardly admitted it, he was truly saddened at the loss of his friend.
About Seven thousand and seven hundred years have passed since, and while the sadness has faded, he still remembers him fondly, tells stories and speaks highly of his first chosen.Â
