Wait are they not roommates anymore 😢

Sadly enough, Jaebum and Youngjae seem to have stopped rooming together at the dorms near the end of last year or very early this year at the latest! Even though they all seem to move around a lot, in an interview released in January, the boys said that Mark, Jackson, Bambam, and Yugyeom were sharing the maknae’s room next to Jinyoung, Jaebum was still in the same room… but Youngjae had moved out and “found other places to sleep.” I don’t think that there’s any certain answer of where exactly he moved to though.
Honestly, I have no idea why he left, especially since a few things that Jaebum has said hint that he didn’t want Youngjae to leave… and then there’s the lyrics of 1:31am… just saying… But I’m kind of hoping that it was due (at the worst!) to some temporary tension that they’ve gotten over??? Because they seemed to get so much closer during the Fly Tour, and it’s pretty implied that they were rooming together during at least some of the stops! They also apparently roomed together during the Japan Tour in January and February (after Youngjae moved out…) at least when they wrote 1:31am, and I think they tend to be paired during most hotel stays, so their closeness during Fly Tour might not mean much… But I’m still crossing my fingers for them to be roommates again at the dorms!
