a couple of azog's physical adaptations:

the presence of tapetum lucidum in orcs' eyes allows them to see in extremely low light conditions ; this is necessary as orcs are a primarily nocturnal species. especially for the northern orcs , as they are mostly cave dwelling in nature ( due to the northern tribes being an older variant of orc , which were bred in a world without light. ) this reflective layer in their eyes allows orcs to see light that is undetectable by the human eye.

an orc's sense of smell is roughly 10,000x stronger than a human's ― this varies from orc to orc , some having better senses than others. azog himself is capable of detecting a scent from up to a 1.5 miles away.

his ears can be moved directionally , aiding in more accurately detecting sound && which direction it is coming from. aside from their use in detecting sound , the movement of orcs' ears are used in nonverbal communication. in general orcs have better hearing than humans , though often lose it significantly over the course of their lives due to the loud nature of orcish culture.

OTHER: now for the caveats indicated above -

+ i'm very picky about ocs related to a version of tony, and people tony knows, because i won't consider them related to my tony and the people he knows. the multiverse exists, and i make use of it, and i'm just...look, i'll be real with you. most tony kid ocs lean heavily on mcu stuff and it does not work for a 616 tony, and tony being a sad sack with no kids is kind of important to his character. i'll happily write with child/relative ocs. they won't be related to the tony found here.

++ technically this is true on this blog and has been for...a very long time, but i decided to tentatively open back up since dean (who rps steve and bucky) is on an indefinite hiatus and until he decides what he's going to do one way or another. so, yeah, technically tony's main-main verse (which is technically two separate verses) are single ship - one with bucky and one with steve. but, again, tentatively opened back up to let other people sniff around and see if something pops off. still require some ooc talking and platonic interaction first to see if anything's there in the first place.

+++ angst is fine as long as it has a point and a resolution. i don't do angst for the sake of it, if i want that i can literally just read iron man comics.
