hello! i go by Mayhem or Lionzz online, my pronouns are he/him, and i’m aroace.

i’m currently working on a utmv story on ao3 (link to my ao3 is in my bio, or just search “Lionzz” and you’ll find me) called INFLUENCE, and as i’m sure you could see, i’m a massive fan of utmv content.

the fanfic i’m working on is my own take on various sans aus, combined with my own ocs. the story is currently spread across 3 fics and a few one shots, but that could very well change.

fanart is very welcome! feel free to send me any of your fanart and i’ll do my best to shout you out. or just tag it with “INFLUENCEUTMV” and i’ll do my best to browse that tag somewhat frequently.

updates are very sporadic. i don’t have a consistent schedule, though i try to upload at least one chapter (but sometimes 2 or 3) every 3 weeks at the bare minimum. i’m terrible with deadlines and schedules, so don’t expect anything too consistent out of me any time soon.

What NOT to expect from INFLUENCE:

-romance (i’m aroace, romance is something i will never care for. though i guess there are some ships if you squint. nothing intentional, though)

-peak writing (this is literally my first attempt at writing any kind of story, don’t expect me to suddenly create the best story ever. i’ll certainly try to make a good story though)

-popular interpretations of certain characters (i hate fgod and fgoc with a passion, i will never write that into my story. similarly, i’m not going to be using too many fanon interpretations. since those are usually kind of boring)

-a consistent update schedule (just because i plan to upload one chapter every 3 weeks doesn’t mean i will always do that. i am a massive procrastinator, and i’m also super lazy. do not expect anything approaching a consistent schedule from me, you will only be let down)

if any of this appeals to you, then please give my story a shot. i can at least guarantee that i care about the quality of writing, so feel free to give constructive criticism! (as long as it’s actually constructive)

One of his friends being the emotional equivalent of a brick definitely helped with that, if nothing else. It’d be pretty hard to maintain a friendship with someone who felt like a somewhat functional sociopath on their best days without knowing how to handle their… quirks.

He loves his friend, but dealing with Canvas’ bullshit is certainly an… interesting experience.

As he soon found out though, even though Glitch understood The Balance, he didn’t exactly care. The guy was extremely dedicated to destroying AU’s, yeah, but he didn’t exactly go out of his way to do it either.

They eventually clashed over their conflicting goals. Canvas striving to protect, while Glitch wanted to destroy. These clashes continued for centuries, with no real winner.

Then, Glitch suddenly changed.

He stopped playing with his food, instead destroying AU’s left and right. Canvas remembered the fight that ensued between them. It was the closest he had ever come to dying.

After that fight, Glitch only grew colder and more ruthless. He hollowed out AU’s, leaving behind a few survivors to bait out Canvas’ friends, killing off multiple members of Team Pure.

When they wizened up to this, Glitch changed his tactics, going after specific AU types to convince them into believing there was a pattern, only to use that fake pattern to distract them from his AU killing spree.

They quickly upped their recruitment efforts, using those new recruits to shore up their defenses. They even came up with an alarm system to alert Canvas of which AU Glitch was currently attacking.

One day, after years of this back-and-forth, Glitch changed again. He became less hostile, but paradoxically, his aggressiveness only increased. Glitch adopted some warped savior complex, killing off countless AU’s while claiming that it was for their own good.

It was strange, Glitch was never this calm. He always had a temper fitting for a God of Destruction, but now he’s just… calm.

Eerily calm.”

Even after so long, he still hasn’t fully gotten used to his mind being so… calm.

He doesn’t know where that beast went, but he’s glad it’s not bugging him anymore. He was honestly hours away from considering a more… permanent way to end the torment.

Maybe the doctor was right, he really shouldn’t have forced it. Lord knows he’d be better off without his eye.

Though that might be a bit too pessimistic, even for his tastes. After all…

At least it’s over now. He even got to keep the eye, as well. Albeit, on the condition that he took daily ‘checkups’.

It’s times like these where he really appreciates his rare ability to freely travel the multiverse. Without it, he has no doubts the doctor would have done something far worse.

…Fighter threatening to break every bone in the man’s body if he so much as scratched him definitely helps there. The doctor would definitely beat her in her base, but if she used ‘that’, then he wouldn’t stand a chance, and the doctor knows that.

…Chaos threatening to use Overwrite on the man probably intimidated him even more. Which, honestly, that’s fair, Chance wouldn’t want to be on the other end of that, either.

Man, his friends really are the best.”

He sighed, already recognizing who it was by the blue jacket.

”What the hell do ya want now, Prime?”

Prime gave him an apologetic look.

”sorry for scaring ya, man. i wasn’t expecting you to be here.”

Riot gave an unimpressed look.

Prime sighed.

”alright, fine. i’ll get to the point. we could use your help.”

Riot scoffed.

”Oh yeah? I already told ya: I. Don’t. Care. This whole war ya got goin’ on? It’s none o’ my business, and unless someone makes it my business, I’m not gonna fight jus’ so yer boys can win some pissin’ contest.”

Prime immediately frowned in response.

”it’s not just a ‘pissing contest’. people are actively dying, entire worlds are being destroyed. if Team Vile wins, then the entire multiverse will be either destroyed, or drowned in Negativity.”

Riot scowled at him, the magenta flame in his eye sockets growing into an inferno.

”So? People die every day, it’s part o’ life. If I get involved, I might die, and while I might have my moments, I don’ wanna lose my life over somethin’ like that. Do ya see how stupid ya sound? None o’ what ya said is guaranteed ta’ happen, ‘specially wit’ you of all people here to make sure o’ that. ‘sides, ‘s not like my world would be affected that much, it’s already a shitty place to live. Jus’ cuz the humans ain’t bein’ racist anymore doesn’t mean this hellhole is any better. It’s still shit, just slightly less shit than before.”

Prime grew even more offended, preparing a retort before stopping himself with a deep sigh.

”fine. i get it, i do. you don’t want to get you and your people hurt by participating. i won’t bother with this anymore. just know that if you change your mind, ill be one call away.”

As Riot prepared another disdained retort, Prime disappeared in a flash of light.

Riot gave another scoff, muttering to himself.

”Tch, yeah right.”
