Not so fun fact about Julianna:
She’s afraid of Infiri. The Brother’s Keeper side quest really shook her deep. Her boggart would be an Infirius that was clearly once a loved one. So, when she meets Ominis outside the catacomb to try and help save Sebastian, she hesitates.
“Come on! What are you waiting for?” Ominis demands, glaring in my direction.
“Y-yes, I’m coming, Ominis! I just…” I take a deep breath, glancing at the charred and withered corpses on the ground, “…need a moment, I—…I really don’t like Inifiri.”
He huffs.
“You go traipsing off into the wilderness constantly, fighting trolls, giant spiders, and the lot! Yet, it’s Infiri you’re afraid of?!”
“Everyone’s afraid of something, Ominis!”
I flinch at my own outburst. I’d never raised my voice to him before. My words had stilled him. He looks towards me with brief surprise that soon morphs into concern.
“It’s not that I can’t handle them or anything,” I say, moving past him a few paces and wrapping my arms around myself in comfort. “They just…upset me. They were people once. Yet they can’t even rest in peace because someone turned them into monsters. It’s cruel. …I don’t like it.”
A small stretch of silence. Then he finally speaks in a much softer tone:
“…I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to sound uncaring.”
“It’s alright.”
He steps up beside me and I feel the warmth of his closeness despite the late winter chill.
“If it’s any consolation, at least you won’t be facing them alone this time. Even though your companion is the blind kid.”
I chuckle and turn to gently smile at him. If only he knew how there’s no one else I’d rather be with right now.
“It’s a great consolation, Ominis. Thank you. Now, let’s go get Sebastian.”
