Minamata is a film that needs to be seen. It brings to light the pain of the vicitms of Minamata and why their voices need to be heard. It also shows how valuable journalism can be when they decide to correctly report on injustice.

We have a lot to learn, and the more people who see this movie, the more people who will have their eyes opened.

It’s now made over $1.5M and STILL hasn’t had a full release, MGM Studios we are looking at you. This week it’s also opened in Japan to sold out screenings.

News: Johnny Depp just launched a new European Production Company!  🎆 🎆

Today, September 23, before leaving San Sebastian, Spain, Johnny, announced the launching of “IN.2 FILM”, a new production company garnering inspiration from original scripts, works of literature, stage plays; movie, stage and television productions creations, focusing on European sensibility combined with American accessibility with relationships with writers, directors, producers, show-runners and actors. This new company is based on London and “sister” of Johnny’s American company “Infinitum Nihil”. Founded by Johnny, the producers Stephen Deuters and Stephen Malit, they already made their first partnership with Adolfo Blanco Lucas, director of the Spanish distributor and production company based in Barcelona, “Contracorriente Films”. The company is known for distributing theatrical films, especially from Europe, and classics of all times.

The agreement covers a development slate of projects, both feature films and television series, including upcoming projects with Paris based producer Jelena Goldbach, London based producer Alexandra Stone and producer/ director and Johnny’s long time friend Julien Temple. The team is currently working with a number of new and established writers to bring the slate to market for production in 2022/3 and further partnerships is set to be announced.
