When someone tells you how they feel regardless of the subject, please don’t ever take it lightly or as a joke.. Sometimes It takes so fucking much for a person to allow themselves to open up. You have no idea how hard it is for some people to let themselves become that vulnerable and honest about how they truthfully feel, not to mention trust “you” with them. Don’t take the moment for granted and be thankful they’re sharing a sacred and private piece of themselves with you. Make them feel accepted and comfortable. How would you want to be treated? Make someone feel like they never need to stay closed up inside to the world or worried about being judged for being true to themselves and the world.
