As much as Hongbin was enjoying the Autumn Moon Festival, he was also a little on edge-- a fact that could be completely attributed to the gods in attendance. Since arriving on the island, he had managed to avoid gods, for the most part, and that was how he would have liked to keep it. It was not that he assumed they were all unpleasant (although surely some of them were), but rather because every time he thought about the fact that they existed, his brain wanted to explode.
However, at the festival it was pretty well impossible to dodge the gods, since they looked like everyone else and apparently there were quite a few of them. That knowledge did not stop him from being nervous when he accidentally bumped into a man who seemed like he carried himself the way a god would. Much as he felt uneasy about that, he couldn’t just not apologize. “O-Oh, um, I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to... Sorry.”
