        “  You truly  are  an interesting man ... ”

   Lone digit easily tipped Yutaka’s chin upward,  lilac eyes scanning over every inch of the younger man’s face as if he were taking in the sight of some wonderful masterpiece set before him.  Not many knew of the young Lord’s preference,  even fewer still of his more  flirtatious  nature when alone with one that held his interest,  but now ?  Well,  it seemed Ayato was curious to see just what would happen.

   Slowly,  curiously,  fingers began to trail their way downward  -  taking the opportunity presented over a late night bottle of sake to see just how far he could go before the other snapped,  in one way or another.

“doesn’t everyone want to be liked though?” it sounds like yutaka is rambling, a concept chongyun is very familiar with. they do it too, so they’re not in a position to judge.

It was the sweet smell that might have betrayed the attempts of surprise. She always had a keen nose for the various scents of flowers, and an even sharper memory to identify the name and the properties. It was both a talent and a curse, depending on the season. These flowers though.. they were unfamiliar. They weren’t the kinds found around her forest, but somewhere beyond. Her expression had turned soft - and dare she admit it -  wonderment.

Her gaze cast downward before her fists clenched in an attempt to hide what she hadn't been aware was happening. She had nowhere to hide them except awkwardly at her sides. "It's cold. That's all." She lied. The weather was mild, the breeze tepid. There was no outwardly reason for her hands to shake. She looked around, trying to find something to change any possible subject on the matter.

Diluc got some bad news, so from the moment to happen, he couldn’t help but feel down and just wanted today to end.  but with him being lost in thought he couldn’t help but snap out of it, while the other was speaking to him. head titled back up, he looked at the other. 

“i tend to not trouble myself with things i don’t need to.” on the surface it sounds rude and dismissive. chongyun feels bad for sounding that way, but he has his reasons. the question is, how does one explain these reasons to a near perfect stranger?

“thank you!” chongyun can’t help but feel embarrassed at the praise. it’s only half directed at them, but it’s still praise nonetheless. “your vision helped us both out a lot, thank you.”
