What is essentially needed, is first the belief that the individual can create change, and second, a means from which the individual might share their thoughts with the rest of the world.
My biggest fear is to be labeled fake or something I am not. I desire to be liked. With a world full of of individuals, it's hard to not have a personality that overlaps someone else's.

The Daily Thoughts (Topic:Fitting in) Day 1
Have you ever noticed how in a highschool surrounding you can easily tell what a person is like and what kind of people they associate themselves with? Me well, being me, has. In my highschool, cliques and groups are as potent and (maybe a little less) distinct as they are in the classic movie Mean Girls. There are the classic
"Populars" who just look pretty and secretly break laws by smoking pot and drinking to not remember any of their good times in the morning.
The (as I like to call them) "Snooty Beauties" because of their gorgeous looks they believe to be superior to others.
The Varsity athletes
The "Nerds"
Well, I belong to none of these groups. I don't belong period. My morals are too high to be a "Popular", I'm not tall enough (and maybe just not pretty enough) to be a "Snooty Beauty", and the other two groups just aren't my forte. Not super athletic, and CERTAINLY not smart.
I am me, I am an individual. And as shocking as it seems, I used to hate the idea of that. I have horrible self esteem because of my appearance. All throughout my life I was bullied for my petite size. (Fun Fact: Up until 6th grade, I weighed a meager 41 LBS) And that was the start to my need to fit in. Only for me to now realize, that it's not worth it if you have to try. If you aren't yourself around your "friends" they aren't real friends. Simply because, they aren't friends with the real you. What if one day you just act yourself and they don't like it? What good will that do to you when you have to explain that you practically are two people to your "Friends"? None.
My advice: This will be the only thing in your life that if you try too hard, you will actually fail miserably. So be yourself! Everyone else is already taken, right? So why try to be a copy cat? It seriously will get you nowhere but on a one way train to Unhappinessville, population: you (and other people who conform drastically).
BE an indUvidual.
Just. Be. You.
Love always,
-Lj

never let anyone get you down, you are you and you deserve the best.
Jealousy is just a sign that you love somebody
