When I could trust no other, You came, holdin my hands, guidin me through the crowds, But now you've pushed me aside. You been runnin behind my back, Spreadin all those lies bout myself, And then you come and kiss me, tellin me everythin was alright. When you came cryin to me for help, I would never look another way, Now, as I'm bein choked, I find out it's you. So tell me, have you ever really cared bout me? All you've tried is to drive me insane, Tellin me to believe you and your sweet words, While you go around, doin otherwise. You tell me that you've been lovin me for so long, Yet you've been runnin behind others. Who am I supposed to believe in? Is it your lips? Is it my eyes? Whenever I was down, You'd lift me so high, But now you've left to me to drown on my own, Fearin help from all others. Now that you've driven me insane, Walkin me by the edge of a cliff, All you've done is make me wish I was blind. Forcin me to turn my frown into a smile, Makin me fearful of confidin in others, Makin me beg you for the truth. Whenever I'm down, I just cuddle with myself and sing me a lullaby, Whenever I feel like dyin, I remember that I could simply kill myself. All you've done is steal my sanity, All you've done is rob me of my trust, All you've done is cast aside my self-esteem.
