She specializes in middle grade, young adult, and adult fiction in the following genres: contemporary with a literary bent, historical, horror, magical realism, thriller/mystery/suspense, book club, and women’s fiction. In nonfiction, she seeks platform-driven memoir and biography. Judge: Britt Laux is a non-binary author, editor, and parent based in rural Ohio. They write fantasy and contemporary stories with queer representation and plenty of romance. Inspired by the woods they live in, you can often find Britt wandering among the trees thinking up the next story.
