I know I haven't posted on here in a while, but I'm really excited to announce that Dollhouse has launch date!

Regarding your question about e-books for free-
No, it wouldnt be off putting. Free e-books have helped me find authors I might have otherwise missed because their works didnt look like my usual thing. It can be a good way to get your name out there, and start to generate interest.

You are right. Finding an audience is far more important to me than charging.
And while it is still disappointing I won't be able to earn anything from the years of hard work and will likely lose a fair amount of money (in editing, cover art, maps, marketing etc.) if the interest is there and people enjoy - even come to love - the stories I have written, I will be very satisfied by that. 💗

hey what indie bands would u recommend for someone
if you want a really good intro to what (in my opinion) GOOD indie music is like, i would definitely recommend Sleeping At Last as a good bridge into the genre. regardless of not being an ‘underground’ group, they’re still very emotional and soft, and are unarguably one of my favourite groups out there.

digging into my more personal tastes, i really love Vancouver Sleep Clinic. they are a wonderful group who tend to stick to a very loose but smooth style of music, and their voice has put me to sleep on more than one occasion. they also follow me on twitter and i’m absolutely tickled about it.

moving on, Axel Flovent is a great guy. he’s been getting a little more popular on spotify, which is great, because i want him to do well. his voice is a bit on the higher end, but it has a mild but lovely twang to it that just sticks in your head and makes you want to listen to more of him.

last one i’ll throw at you is Novo Amor. i actually found them on here on tumblr on my dash one day, and i haven’t been able to put them down yet. their voices hold so much charm and their songs carry a lot of emotion that can be applied to so many people and places and events. very lovely for playlists.
