Dr. Raju, Indy's very honest and caring vet, gave me a call this morning at 8am to confirm the cancer and the prognosis of 1-2 months. My heart is so heavy today. Some may say, it's just a dog, but to me, she is my daughter. She has been with me through SO MUCH (good and bad) in my life and has always been by my side. Her unconditional love and warm, caring heart has gotten me through more than I could have done well on my own.

I want to state that I chose not to do chemo. This will only possibly prolong her life for 12 months and will put her her through distress and pain that I strongly feel she does not deserve. She will take her tramadol for pain and prednisone for for swelling. This should keep her at a good quality of life until they no longer work for her and she lets me know. I trust that Inds will show me when it is her time. I do not want her to have to go through any pain or suffering. I want her to remember her healthy life and leave this earth knowing that she did all the things that made her happy.
