Posting a journal entry from August when I was going through the deepest point of my burnout. I’m still feeling pretty unmotivated and just heavy in general, but I think I’m slowly trying to find a reason for my work and my job and be just immersed and happy with this period of my life. I hope you all have been doing better! I would love for people to recommend their tips on how they’ve gotten out of periods of burnout, so yeah! Just let me know.

2021 summer studying challenge update:
july 7th: what did you do during the summer when you were a young child?
summer camp in the mountains used to be a key element of the summer for me! i would go every year and i always looked forward to it so much.
july 8th: what's your happiest summer memory from your childhood?
i don't think i have a specific one, but i'd say memories from camp... or reading endlessly.
july 9th: do you usually go on vacation during the summer?
usually yes, most likely with my family. as me and my siblings grow older it's getting hard for everyone to be free on the same week, but we still try.
july 10th: what is the best vacation you have ever been on?
it might partially be because it's recent, but i'm gonna say last year's summer vacation! it was the first family vacation in a very long time that we spent in the mountains instead of at the beach and i loved it!

Trying to find out if creating flashcards out of important things in my articles is a good way to understand the content for my media test.

I think the areas in my field that I am most passionate about are sociology of health and sociology of communication. I can definitely see that they are probably my favorite because it is the areas that I always wanted to work on. I have to say that about topics in these areas I had the pleasure to work about mental health and social media and I can see me definitely working about these again!
