“ you, sir! ” unceremoniously, hardly taking the slightest note of the man’s odd attire, dr. anwyl shoved a pamphlet into the fumbling hands of leonard mccoy. judging by the amount of people passing dr. anwyl by with a wide berth and a sneering scoff, the enterprise physician might well be the first man in some time to even pay the welshman any mind whatsoever. dr. anwyl, snatching upon that chance, held mccoy’s gaze steadfastly as he pushed the pamphlet insistently further. “ what do you know of the education of the physicians and surgeons who serve the public? ”

    “ Lately it feels like the WHOLE crew is getting more anxious and tense. I’m trying to help where I can but it’s starting to wear off on me too. ” The downside to having empathic abilities as strong as hers was that if she wasn’t careful she would start to feel the stress too. Feeling too much of a connection with her patients could become a flaw but if anyone on the ship could understand her current struggle she hoped it would be a doctor like McCoy. “ It would be irresponsible to turn people AWAY but I’m not sure how to proceed from here.. ”
