i’ve been ~6 episodes into fate/apocrypha and the dialogue with jeanne, astolfo, and sieg has been so good. like they’re all telling him to live and especially when astolfo first decided to help him escape once sieg decided for himself he wanted to live was so good, and then both of them encouraging sieg to live really got me. of course, nothing was possible without siegfried’s sacrifice and that definitely was something.

in the end the dialogue from jeanne to sieg that went like, jeanne telling him that bad things would come & he’d have to remember what made him smile...it’s good stuff to remember. i can’t exactly connect it to myself yet because i need to deal with my own feelings but it’s a very good philosophy (but i hate using that word because it implies some like higher level of understanding that’s inaccessible) to keep in mind
