Trump has tried throwing a tantrum, he’s tried telling us he meant something else, he’s tried telling us his facts are different, and he’s tried saying that insisting on real facts and not taking his word for it hurts his feelings.

My prediction:  His next move will be to start concern-trolling, e.g, Why Is the Media So Obsessed With the Size of the Inauguration Crowd When There Are More Important Issues.

This prediction is based on Trump’s long history of A) gaslighting, and B) projecting.  

When he tries this tactic, remember that the story is not actually about the size of his inauguration crowd.  It’s about the fact that:

1. He wouldn’t shut up about it for the first four days of his presidency, and 

2. He insists on lying--not stating his opinion or presenting an alternative viewpoint, but lying about this readily disprovable (yet inconsequential) matter, requiring his staff to repeat his lies, and muzzling government employees who try to refute his lies with genuine evidence.
