"The city is sick. Everyone can see it. The infection runs deep, from the lowest warrens to the highest halls, and no one can mistake the lingering malaise for what it is. The great tragedy here is that even though a city can be healed in the same way a person can, even though everybody can see it, few are willing to do anything about it. Few, but not all. There are those who know what needs to be done. A handful of souls so determined that they would risk infection themselves rather than sit idle. And so they harden their hearts and they walk into where that sickness has taken root. They cut away at the disease no matter where it lies. Their work is bloody and unforgiving, but it must be bloody and unforgiving because that is the nature of their foe. It is the most daunting of tasks, more than any one person should bear; to hold the lives of so many in their hands is enough to break anyone. Not them, though; they do not break. They do what needs to be done. They cut away at the sickness in hopes that when they are done there will still be a city left."
Some nostalgia hit last night and had to draw a couple of beloved characters. And redesign them a tad. Sketches doodles... Thank you those who were on the stream!
