( ☼ ) His recurring nightmare served as an utter nuisance to Taehyung and although fond of what his brain normally gifted him with during his slumber, he was growing weary of waking up in a cold sweat every few days. Research was his first course of action and with the vast resources on the Internet, he felt he was bound to find a concise explanation behind his brain’s mechanics. However gaining information at three in the morning when sleep was his top priority proved to be ineffective thus his next most reliable source - to at least calm him - was Euijin.
Hearing her voice on the other end of the line brought a faint smile to Taehyung’s lips despite the events of the night and he gulps down the remaining water in his glass; his voice a low whisper once he responds. “Yeah,” he sighs, moving into the main room of the dorm to plop down on the couch, “I’m sorry. ‘s like the second time this week…”
— {★} — The prospect of his recurring nightmares placed a frown onto her. She got the idea when it came to how he’d be tormented by such ordeals that caught him in his sleep. Euijin had nothing else but her attention her comfort to give him -- something that she was unaware that the other found solace in.
“Don’t be sorry,” she murmured to her phone that was propped in between her shoulder and ear. Her hands had been idly playing with the stray ends of her pair of house shorts that were worn and torn from weekly use. Drowsiness hadn’t quite affected her yet -- she was used to heading to bed at ungodly hours, and staying up whilst everyone else in her dorm were counting sheep.
A few seconds of silence had passed them. Euijin figured she shouldn’t let the stillness last for long, so she spoke out once more, carefully delivering out each word in a light, playful tone so as to soothe him. “Was it another dream about bugs? Or was it a clown this time around, hm?”
