perfume diary - imramma
Kind of like how Alkemia managed a better version of SS's Library with their Dustsceawung, they also have a better version of Tenebrous Mist with Imramma.
I really can't rec Alkemia enough for making atmospheric perfumes that capture a bigger idea. Imramma is beachside and shaded with trees. The melding medium is the soft salt spray note that's quickly detectable, but there's also a very powdery lavender that just has great nosefeel. At first it as a very evergreen tree leaf scent, but the astringency fades after a few minutes to background, which is good.
Also given how weak this kind of scent usually is, Imramma has some decent staying power, enough to linger even after I did the dishes. It's one of the first perfumes out of this pack that I didn't do a apply-wait-reapply method.
It reminds me of some lavender salt stuff that Mims sent me, but suped up in perfume form. 8)
Tremendously good shit.
