Danny had just finished banking the fire pit with a shake of sparks when a burst of warmth rocked his lungs. Curious who’d make their way here of all places he turned toward the woods. “Yello?”

No good, his eyes were still a bit light-dazed. Dusting streaks of ash down his pants Danny reluctantly left the warm coalside to let his focus adjust, shivering. The initial ‘yay!’ of Char was shot by the ‘yikes!’ of their apparent limp, and Danny was quick to rush over, chilly or not.

“Jeez, Char, what-?” Oh. Yikes intensify, they looked rough. Shaking his head Imp offered his support, half-ready to float-drag them into the cabin proper. Help now, freak later. “Any ribs I should watch?”

“Heyyyy Danny~” Charlie managed a grin, lopsided though it was. It probably didn’t help them look any better that there was a distinctly missing tooth in that bloody mouth of theirs. 

It was a good thing they at least aimed well enough to land close to him when they teleported though, cause honestly they weren’t even sure if they were limping in the right direction.

It wasn’t entirely uncommon for Charlie to sort of.... fuck off for days at a time. They pulled a disappearing act regularly enough that it very rarely was cause for concern. There was always at least one person somewhere who knew where they were. This was normal for them. 

“Danny, what-” Vlad turns and twists until he can get a good look at the sticker Danny placed on him.  Property of-  Goodness.
