Idk how much ship wars are still a thing, they clearly have taken a new insidious form of labelling certain ships problematic and finding some actual social issues to say these ships are problematic, you know you're allowed to just, not like stuff right? You can just say this sucks, I hate it, it makes me uncomfortable, there doesn't have to be a real life morality attached to your ships. It's fiction. It's a story.

hii as i am starting to post more original content as soon as i get this next art done within the next few days, i feel the need to make a really heavy clarification: this blog is not meant for the especially faint of heart, as iāll be handling potentially upsetting concepts. while i donāt intend to romanticize situations nor go in depth into them, they will still be present. my intention isnāt to upset people with these concepts. i do not strive for shock value, i honestly just want to portray these themes in a realistic light - presented as fact to a characterās life in context of a much larger story. also i generally donāt intend to like, heavily explicitly show stuff like abuse and death bbbut if something does go into it iāll make sure to state that fact beforehand. these stories arenāt gonna be a goddamn downerfest of unpleasant content but like. itās not gonna be ignored. like pretty much i genuinely donāt want to spring any of this onto people with absolutely no warning, even if already known this blog will carry these topics. everyone has their own comfort zone even if content isnāt explicit.Ā
uhhh kinda vague list as example ig? - mentions and semi-vague portrayals of various kinds of abuse - implied, referenced, or generally joked about sexual content. iām not gonna be like drawing straight up ns/fw or anything but like. the act simply exists. itāll sometimes be mentioned, but not shown. - uhhhhh trauma. like hopefully realistic portrayals of (c)ptsd and i donāt mean JUST flashbacks nd Typical Media Portrayals(tm) (although that might happen in addition) - substance use, sometimes unhealthy (wonāt be demonized, though) - sometimes explicit mentions of death of varying kinds, often bordering onto literally inhuman ways (ie. being controlled by a thing called the ābrainjellyā which then essentially kills you by digesting you but leaving your brain left over for it to use for itself.) - unreality in general, bbbut in context to the stuff in the near future, thereāll be lab documents that talk about various types of creatures/objects/humans/etc that arenāt. typical. (i guess think scp/lobocorp-esque?) so some are upsetting. some arenāt. some are hateful microwaves. some are the brainjelly. i will be tagging everything as needed (especially if requested to do so)! also more less important info but still info in the tags for those interested

I try really, really hard to tag everything properly, both for organization and potential triggers. Even with that, I know Iām not perfect and/or not aware of potentially uncomfortable subjects. Sometimes I write late at night or early in the morning. Sometimes I honestly miss things. Most of the time, I queue my posts and can forget to double check the tags.
If I ever miss something, please let me know ASAP. If you see something that you know might be a blocked tag, please let me know. Yell at me or whisper at me, IĀ don't care.Ā I sometimes end up with like, a paragraph of tags but Iād rather that happen than someone or something fall through the cracks.Ā Ā
Everyoneās health and safety is way more important than a silly writing prompt or post.Ā
