I know you might be let down by the "turning point" but there are bigger things to focus on
Like the sam and Dean confrontation which was utterly heartbreaking and meaningful
You can be let down by your expectations of the turning point but you can't be by the episode just because there was barely any destiel in it. Because there were so many important moments in this one.
In the acclaimed motion picture The Godfather, theirs a brilliant scene at the end where one of the main characters takes up the role of the godfather and closes the door on somebody as he embraces his new role. Theirs’ some fascinating symbolism behind this scene as when the door closes, and it symbolizes how they are now permanently disconnected from one another in their morals and lifestyles. Still, I believe there's actually something more to this famous scene.
I find it fascinating how hes’ frozen in there and that shes’ out there and that hes’ the sheriff and that shes’ frozen out there and that shes’ in there and I just remembered that shes’ out there. One question I still have about that scene is wheres’ the caveman?

My favorite thing about Red Dragon is nowadays it's advertised as like "THE FIRST BOOK TO INTRODUCE HANNIBAL LECTER!!!! LOOK. HANNIBAL LECTER. HERE IS AN INTRODUCTION ALL ABOUT HANNIBAL LECTER" and then you read it and he's literally in like four scenes
