We don't think cle.xa is the only ship around, we just apretiate it because of the MAIN CHARACTER is in a f/f relationship. If you go through that list, a lot of them re not main characters. That's all there is to it, being a main character, that's what get's praise, not the existence of lgbt+ characters in tv shows. And I know we are getting more and more, but like, it's such a short list right now, considering most end in tragedy. ;)
Did my ask make sense to you? I’m not trying to bash your post whatsoever, I just mean, there is a very very short list of lgbtq+ characters in tv shows, even less are in relationships, even less have happy endings and even less are main characters. (PT  2)
Your ask made plenty of sense and thank you for being so polite and for typing Cl*xa that way (helps keep this out of the Cl*xa tag)! I also understand and appreciate that the main character in the show is canonically bisexual and that the show doesn’t make it seem like it is unusual or something that needs to be discussed.Â
It’s especially important to me that Clarke is bisexual as I am bisexual myself,  but Cl*xa is not what I would consider healthy and it bothers me greatly that many people champion it as the best LGBTQ representation there is on TV and often mix up ADC  (precious cinnamon roll) and L*xa (not-so precious cinnamon roll) to justify their ship.Â
It’s ok to ship whatever you want to ship though and for whatever reasons you chose! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me on why you ship Cl*xa. Statements like the ones you sent are important when it comes to opening up a healthy dialogue between both sides of our fandom!Â
