Imperfect saint Was given a ARC for honest review It's a cute read, Millie is guarded because of her past and she needs a date to take to her brothers wedding so her friend who happens to be her boss sets her up with Hunter, who is a bodyguard to her boos/friend, Hunter has always liked Millie and she likes him too but has kept him at arms length because she doesn't want to get hurt so when they go up to her house for the weekend all this drama shows up and Millie lets her guard down so Hunter swoops her up. By this part of the book I was really enjoying it but then the other half I thought was unnecessary because it was just them all lovey dovey until her ex shows up to attack her and Hunter gets there towards the end of the fight where Millie stand her ground and they fly of to the sunset to be all happy. First I don't usually read where bodyguards are involve, but I was given the opportunity to read it so I was like why not!!!, and for me it was going good until half the book, I really liked The Characters of the book who are Hunter and Millie, their personalities where strong and that's important for me in the books that I read, even though she had an abusive relationship with her ex she still held her own but I don't know if it's the cynical part in me but I hate when they get all googly eyes and hearts float around the couple (hahahaha) sorry , but for those who love all the mushy love, you guys are going to love it!!!. I needed more drama and angst (does it show that I like to suffer?) 3 Stars for me #review #imperfectsaint #jessbryant #goodreads #goread #loveforbooks https://www.instagram.com/p/B45MgHZA_Jj/?igshid=7t62s6c928rk
