I spent years looking up to CBK, Zoe Kravitz, and others who inspired me by their style choices. Now I realize why I was really inspired by wasn't their clothes and how they paired accessories to make a look, it was actually their ability to know themselves/their brand with such depth that it was instantly recognizable. I being a true and total libra was a fish out of water, seeking approval, acceptance, and avoiding any sort of inner awareness. The mere idea overwhelmed me, I thought it unnecessary, vain even to focus on my own development and I couldn't identify my own needs let alone prioritize them. So I overindulged, hyper-focused, and ran endlessly. All until the moment things changed irrevocably. The view looks different from here

reaching the starting line and the version of me who began -I saw a reel that nearly had me reeling, it was eerily similar to a previous goal but my life looks so different now I can't say that I still have/work towards that specific goal. Admittedly I did stop mid-scroll to (re)watch and subsequently spent some time with the version of me who was leading that charge. I think doing that, acknowledging the then-vision and all that is now is a harmonious balance. Maybe I even related a ghost I didn't realize I had with me all this time?

-One pattern I have noticed is that throughout the course of my life there has always been some sort of on-the-go nutrition, ranging from granola to protein to oatmeal. I know this is largely due to the fact that I don't really sit and prioritize a meal without special circumstance and/or consideration but it's also practical since I am so often pulled in a number of directions. While I am appreciative of my own preparedness, I am also working to actively incorporate a more mindful approach to my dining habits/routine which will only ground me further so I may absorb even more nutritional content.
