I was asked how I cut the edges of my foam so smooth without using a dremel. I don't know how everyone does it, but this is how I do it. I hold the knife at the desired angle with the point down, and while holding the foam firmly in place with my opposite hand it drag the blade trough the foam. The blade sort of maintains its angle on its own. Don't do a sawing motion, that creates ripples in the cut. I cut on cardboard, so that the tip on my blade can press into it and not break like I have a problem doing on a wooden cutting board. I also recorded this while holding my phone with my chin and collar bones. Go me! So, yeah, as promised, here is that video. If you have better tips or suggestions please comment. I do this to angle pieces for gluing. So perfection isn't as big of a deal. For a sword edge this should work?
