basically they violated workers’ rights to a point that the union showed up on set to keep them in check. it was a whole thing in the business. with shooting days shortened to save money but the demands of quality going up working conditions on film sets are already horrible to begin with, but this particular production had massive issues apart from that as well, so everyone was under a ton of stress, which the director (who is also one of the producers) did nothing to relieve. usually at that point you either terminate production or make cuts to the script, but he did neither. basically what happened on this set was what happens all over the film industry all the time, but amplified, so there was a lot of talk about it. idk if it will have consequences, but i sure as fuck hope so.

München ist zwar schön, aber sehr teuer. Vielleicht könntest du mal ein Wochenende in Berlin oder halt Bremen verbringen, Flüge sind nämlich ganz günstig und die Städte sind auch auf jeden Fall cool :)
Bremen kenn ich schon, ich hatte ein Erasmussemester in Osnabrück und hab ziemlich viele Orte in Niedersachsen besucht weil die Zugkarten für Studenten gratis waren ^^ (ich weiß doch dass teeeechnisch Bremen nicht in Niedersachen ist aaaaaber) Berlin will ich ja auch besuchen :)

At the person who asked about Dresden (can't reply to the post anymore :c) - I'm not studying at the TU but Dresden has a very active international community in general and there are many erasmus students in the uni! I think Dresden is, in general, very welcoming (of course there's a bad side of it with the Pegida demonstrations and such, but I think people reacted by being even more friendly somehow?)
