I get that the show claimed that Celestia was a bad actress, but I do find that a bit odd, considering how much work she has to put in to be regal and fancy and professional all the time. I imagine she'd be good at wearing metaphorical masks! Although it might be difficult to let loose and play a lax part, that could be the angle they're going for! And fr, Celestia and Chrysalis is fantastic, because its like. BIBLICAL toxic yuri. Centuries of rivalry, centuries of obssession. Chrysalis going "I AM YOUR ONE AND ONLY NEMESIS" While Celestia considers her yet another bad guy, but a consistent one, would be pretty fun. I imagine Celestia would derive some joy out of it, the fact that in her centuries of living, she has a constant, even if that constant is an enemy. Plus, the idea that chrysalis only starts accepting her true feelings of love when the world starts changing and she realises she can't do the same song and dance they always did anymore... mwah.
