Living the moment. In April 2016, we witnessed Imbayah Festival's wooden scooter racing event few minutes after arriving in Banaue--just like the Bear Brand Adult Plus TVC. Difference is that they just took a top shot with the terraces as the background and Igorots dressed in full regalia cheered on the sidelines. Our version is more realistic. It happened at the curve en route to the town center with cheering locals dressed in normal clothes on the sidelines. The wooden scooter race is part of the Imbayah Festival. This is a downhill 7-kilometer course that starts from the Rice Terraces View Point to the town proper. The Imbayah Festival happens every last week of April.
