I felt it when he walked in the room, He was not like these other fools, Vying for my attention In the worst of ways. It was like he sucked all of the light Out of the room And soaked it Into his very flesh. I felt my heart racing And my breathing increasing As his gaze fell upon me. Who is he? The power that surrounds him Sucks the ladies in Like a moth to a flame. His very presence Commands the attention Of any individual Men or Women To pay attention. But when his lips parted slightly With the words I found you. I nearly fainted. He wasn't just looking at anyone He was looking at me. My eyes widened My heart stopped completely As he glided across the room Once he stopped in front me I asked the one question That seemed to plague my mind Who are you? I am Hades My beloved. I can't describe what I'm feeling, When I am with you. All I know, Is that I feel peace, Every time I'm with you. Sometimes, I find myself, Gravitating closer to you. Almost as if, I want our heartbeat to become one with what I feel, When I'm with you. Each moment, I discover something new. Whether it is about the person I am, Around you, Or the way your mouth quirks up, Every time you smile, When you're with me. And let me tell you, That is something amazing to see. I can't ever tell you how much you mean to me. I can't ever tell you, How wonderful you seem to me. Because you will never believe, The true beauty of your soul that I see. They say that night cloaks you and your secrets, But in reality It strips you bare. At night, Between the times of 12 and 4, You are completely alone, With yourself and your thoughts. It doesn't matter, If someone is near, Or awake Because your thoughts seem to roam more, To take the wheel. They want to drive you To all the secret locations And locked doors That hides your feelings And deepest emotions. Between these sacred hours, There is no one to face Except you, And your innermost thoughts. Just embrace it.
