Wanted to share with you this piece of music - - I have recently been extremely inspired by original scores from movies and TV shows. After I wrote a remix for the HBO series, 'Westworld', I was obsessed with writing string and orchestral sections. Even the most simple string chords strike me as epic emotional frequencies. Which is why I landed on the name "Unadorned", meaning plain, simple, not decorated nor fancy. I didn't spend too much time on actually writing this track, probably spent just under a full day writing the composition and layers, and the rest was mixing it all down and mastering. My goal was to allow the listener to really hone in on the epic and emotional string section. The consistent, distorted low end synth worked out perfect to flow under the strings later in the track. After that was written, I felt the track had the essential elements it needed to achieve that simple, yet large, sound.
