I have made a new pact with myself to tag things without an image description as "#no id" so that I can revisit them when I have the spoons to add an image description, or so my followers can filter on that tag if they need only described posts.

Question about image description.

Tumblr added an ALT text button to their posts so now it can be clicked! Twitter had this feature, I'm so glad they brought it here!

I don't always have the spoons to add image descriptions to people's posts but it is so inspiring to see people who I've reblogged from in the past and added an ID start to add ID's of their own.

I'm trying to add image descriptions when I can to posts with images and it's getting easier as I practice more, but describing full gifsets seems impossible. I'm bad at being concise so it seems like it would just be uselessly long. If it's a set of aesthetic gifs anyway is there a point because they're meant to be viewed and how can I get the aesthetic across in a short description?
