☩: Do they practice any sort of religion? If so, is it the same as their family’s?

Originally, Dhana’s mother worshipped Tymora, and as does Dhana to some extent. Whilst she isn’t a devout follower, she does pay her own respects to Lady Luck whenever the desire takes her. Given her magical abilities, Dhana also takes guidance from Mystra followers, and is respectful of the goddess - despite not being an outright worshipper.

🌙: Where is the most unusual place they’ve fallen asleep at?

Besides anywhere within the Underdark? The answer would have to be in the Shadow Plane. She hated it and would definitely prefer the depths of the Underdark instead.

💞: What was their first love like? 

Dhana’s first partner (if you could call that ‘love’) was a merchant’s son in Calimshan. She ultimately ended up calling it quits after he ‘threatened’ her with marriage if she didn’t do as he wanted. Namely, Dhana displayed her magic for the first time in an impressive electrical storm...to say the merchant wasn’t impressed was an understatement.

💔: Have they ever had their heart broken? If so, why or how did it happen?

My family and friends have always called me “Chez” and my mum calls me  “Chez-butt”. I also have a shortened version of my surname but I’d rather not say it.

The High Priestess: “What is your dream date?”

Walking around a city at night, especially Fridays or Saturdays when they’re teeming with life. Stopping at a random restaurant. People watching. Sitting in the park and stargazing while listening to the city sounds. Here in Sydney we have Hyde Park in the center of the city, and it’s honestly one of my favourite places to go at night (but only in company because as you can imagine, that shit is CRAZY insane scary and dangerous for anyone who is alone)

Strength: “What is your dream occupation?”

Far, far away from where they began their epic odyssey, the two extraplanar castaways at last found the destination they so desperately sought. The Sleeping Man’s ring was almost humming now as they drew closer. Mhyrcala and Valen held on tightly to each other as the devil’s grappling hand latched onto the pole struck deeply within the ice and sent them hurtling towards its anchor. They landed safely on the snow, untouched by the treacherous lava that encircled the strange field of ice.

Valen’s eyes were dull and red as he took in the surroundings. The glacier held secrets here - there were several craters like numbers on a sundial around the perimeter of their location. But the surface on which they stood was empty... for now.

“I don’t like this,” Valen murmured into the elf’s ear. “I feel as though something here is waiting for us... Be on your guard, Mhyrcala.” After navigating the slaughterhouse of the Blood Wars battlefield, it couldn’t be this easy to finally discover what they sought. The path they carved through demons and devils alike was very likely only the beginning. His grip on his lover’s hand tightened, nearly crushing her fingers as he sought reassurance.

Valen, already half-asleep, sighed happily. With one arm he lifted the sheets to invite Mhyrcala in with him, and then pulled her in closer so that he could spoon her. It was delightfully comfortable under the covers, and in this close proximity it would be easy to feel the rough stubble on his chin and his heartbeat thumping in his chest.

Together Mhyrcala and Valen stood to face down the dreaded Mephistopheles, their faces resolute. They held within them the key to his defeat, the knowledge of his True Name and command over the duke’s very soul. But that did not stop the villain from a last-ditch effort to sway the heroes.

Though the archdevil tried to tempt them, Mhyrcala held firm and Valen remained right by her. He could offer Valen the world and he would decline - with his love by his side, he already had everything he needed. A secured future with Mhyrcala kindled hope into a blazing fire of determination, and any offering from the duke would be but a paltry consolation prize in comparison. Nothing could persuade the tiefling to turn his back on the promise of a life with her.

With little else to offer the Sembian elf and the tiefling, Mephistopheles resorted to challenging them--

But the duke’s hopes were dashed by the simple utterance of his True Name. “Thra'axfyl the Ambitious...” he’d heard Mhyrcala say.

As satisfying as it would have been to simply kill the archdevil, Valen knew that his death on the prime material plane would cause him to revive back in Cania, leaving him free to return to wreak more havoc should he find another way. The only true way to ensure he could not return with a vengeance was to banish him to the realm he once governed.

Nor was he consciously aware of his guest sharing the bed with him. There would still yet be some time for him to rise on his own, but her presence may very well be the thing to awaken him if she was not careful...
