Incredibly sad news today. Syd Mead, the revolutionary futurist painter, industrial designer and concept artist of Alien, Blade Runner, Tron and many more projects has passed away. He’s been such an inspiration from the day I saw his work, the sheer believability of it and the life that he can instill in his images...I’m deeply saddened and as much as I would have loved to see our dear friend live on into the 2020’s, I can only hope he’s at peace. For some reason I thought this day would never come..
